Endorsement Home
The Endorsement Home screen is your central hub for reviewing member activities, issuing credentials, and tracking top contributors. It is the first screen you see when you tap the Endorse tab in the bottom navigation bar of the FeatsClub app.
How to Access
Tap the Endorse tab in the bottom navigation bar. This tab is available to org admins and displays the Endorsement Home screen with all three sections described below.
What You See
The Endorsement Home screen is organized into three distinct sections, stacked vertically:
- Leaderboard -- Top contributors at a glance
- Review & Endorse -- Activity type tiles for reviewing submissions
- Issue Credentials -- Tiles for proactively issuing endorsements and certificates
1. Leaderboard Section
The top section of the Endorsement Home showcases your organization's top contributors in a podium layout.
What It Shows
- Top 3 contributors displayed in a podium arrangement:
- 1st place -- Center position, tallest podium step
- 2nd place -- Left position
- 3rd place -- Right position
- Each podium entry displays:
- Rank badge (gold, silver, bronze)
- Profile photo
- Member name
- Total points earned across all endorsed activities
View All
Tap the View All link to open the full leaderboard screen, which shows the complete ranked list of all members who have earned points.
Empty State
When no members have earned points yet, the leaderboard section displays a motivational message -- "Endorse, Encourage, Empower" -- encouraging admins to start reviewing and endorsing activities.
Info Icon
An info icon appears in the leaderboard section header. Tapping it opens an explanation of how the points system works, helping admins and members understand how points are earned and how rankings are calculated.
The leaderboard updates in real time as you endorse activities. Encourage healthy competition by sharing leaderboard highlights with your community.
2. Review & Endorse Section
The middle section presents five activity type tiles arranged in a grid. Each tile represents a category of member-submitted activities that you can review and endorse.
The Five Activity Tiles
| Tile | What It Contains |
|---|---|
| Volunteering | Volunteer hours logged by members for community service, events, or causes |
| Assignments | Completed assignments, homework, or tasks submitted by members |
| Practice Logs | Practice sessions logged for sports, music, art, or other skills |
| Club Activities | Participation records for club events, meetings, or group activities |
| Achievements | Notable accomplishments, awards, or milestones submitted by members |
Tile Badges
Each tile displays a count badge in its corner:
- Yellow badge -- Indicates the number of activities waiting for your review (pending submissions). This is your action item.
- Gray badge -- Shows the total count of activities in that category when nothing is pending.
A yellow badge means members are waiting for your review. Try to process pending submissions regularly so members receive timely feedback and points.
What Happens When You Tap a Tile
Tapping any activity tile opens a list of all submitted activities of that type. From there you can:
- View individual submission details
- Endorse or reject submissions
- Select multiple submissions for bulk processing
See Activity Types for a detailed breakdown of each activity type, including what members submit and how points are calculated.
3. Issue Credentials Section
The bottom section contains two tiles that let the org admin proactively create recognition for members, without requiring a member submission first.
Two Credential Tiles
| Tile | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Issue Endorsements | Create endorsements for members directly. Use this when you want to recognize a member's contribution, skill, or achievement without waiting for them to submit an activity. |
| Issue Certificates | Manage and issue digital certificates. Certificates can recognize course completions, program milestones, awards, or any other achievement worth documenting. |
When to Use Each
- Review & Endorse (section 2) -- When a member initiates recognition by submitting an activity
- Issue Credentials (section 3) -- When the org admin initiates recognition proactively
Issue Credentials is separate from the Review & Endorse workflow. Endorsements issued proactively still award points and appear on the member's profile, just like endorsed submissions.
