Activity Types

FeatsClub supports five activity types that members can submit for review and endorsement. Each type is designed for a different kind of contribution, and each has its own point calculation method.

Volunteering

What it is: Members log volunteer hours for community service, events, causes, or any form of unpaid work that benefits others.

What members submit:

  • Date of the volunteering activity
  • Duration in hours
  • Cause or organization they volunteered for
  • Description of work performed
  • Optional media (photos, documents)

Points: Auto-calculated at 10 points per hour. The point value is determined by the hours logged -- the org admin does not manually select a point value for volunteering.

Hours LoggedPoints Awarded
1 hour10 points
2 hours20 points
3 hours30 points
5 hours50 points
10 hours100 points

Special feature: Volunteering includes an Excel export option, letting org admins download comprehensive volunteering reports as spreadsheets. This is useful for tracking service hours across your organization, generating reports for school requirements, or submitting documentation to external programs.

tip

The Excel export for volunteering is especially helpful for schools and nonprofits that need to report community service hours to external bodies or accreditation programs.

  • Assignment details and title
  • Completion date
  • Description of work completed
  • Optional media (photos, documents, files)

Points: The org admin selects a point value from the dropdown when reviewing each submission. Available values: 2, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 45, or 50 points.

What members submit:

  • Club or cohort the activity belongs to
  • Activity date
  • Description of participation
  • Optional media (photos, videos)

What members submit:

  • Achievement details and title
  • Date of the achievement
  • Description and context
  • Media or evidence (photos, certificates, award documents)

Points: The org admin selects a point value from the dropdown when reviewing each submission. Available values: 2, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 45, or 50 points.

tip

Achievements often deserve higher point values since they represent significant accomplishments. Consider using 30--50 points for major awards, competition wins, or certifications.

Points Reference

Volunteering points are always calculated automatically at 10 points per hour. The org admin does not select a point value -- it is determined entirely by the number of hours the member logged.
