Issuing Endorsements

App Only This feature is only available in the FeatsClub mobile app.

This guide walks you through the complete process of proactively issuing endorsements to your organization's members. Unlike the Review & Endorse workflow where members submit activities for your approval, here you initiate the recognition.

Browsing Members

  1. From the Endorsement Home screen, tap the Issue Endorsements tile in the Issue Credentials section.
  2. The OrgIssueCredentialsHome screen opens, showing a list of all your organization's members.
  3. Each member entry displays:
    • Profile photo and name
    • Credential count -- How many credentials this member has received so far
  4. Use the search bar at the top to find a specific member by name.
  5. Tap a member to view their credential history and issue new credentials.

Viewing a Member's Credential History

After tapping a member, you see their credential detail screen showing:

  • All previously issued credentials (endorsements and certificates)
  • Each credential's type, date, and points awarded
  • An Issue New Credential button to create a new endorsement for this member

Issuing Volunteering Endorsements (Bulk)

The Volunteering credential type supports bulk issuance, allowing you to issue the same volunteering endorsement to multiple members at once.

Step-by-Step

  1. Select Volunteering Endorsement as the credential type.
  2. You are shown a member selection screen with checkboxes. Select one or more members who participated in the volunteering activity.
  3. Enter the volunteering details:
    • Number of hours -- How many hours each selected member volunteered
    • Cause / Organization -- The cause or entity the volunteering was for (e.g., "City Food Bank", "Beach Cleanup")
    • Date of volunteering -- When the volunteering took place
    • Media / Evidence (optional) -- Attach photos or documents as supporting evidence
  4. Tap Submit.
  5. The system creates individual endorsements for each selected member.
  6. Points are auto-awarded at 10 points per hour per member.
  7. All endorsements are created in the Endorsed status immediately -- there is no pending review step.

Example

If you select 5 members and enter 3 hours of volunteering, each member receives:

  • One endorsement for 3 hours of volunteering
  • 30 points (3 hours x 10 points/hour)
  • The endorsement appears immediately in their activity history

tip

Use bulk volunteering issuance for activities you track outside the app. For example, if coaches take attendance at practice sessions and track hours in a spreadsheet, the org admin can bulk-issue volunteering endorsements at the end of the month -- saving members from having to submit individually.

Issuing Other Credential Types

Participation, Achievement, and Custom credentials follow the same general process but with slightly different fields.

Step-by-Step

  1. Select the credential type (Participation, Achievement, or Custom).
  2. Select one or more members to receive the credential.
  3. Enter the credential details:
    • Activity description -- Describe what the member did or achieved
    • Points to award -- Choose a value between 2 and 50
    • Date -- When the activity or achievement occurred
    • Media (optional) -- Attach photos, documents, or other evidence
  4. Tap Submit.
  5. Endorsements are created for each selected member in the Endorsed status.
  6. Points are awarded immediately.

What Happens After Issuance

Once you submit the credentials:

  1. Endorsements are created for each selected member with the status Endorsed.
  2. Points are awarded immediately -- they appear in the member's point total and are reflected on the leaderboard.
  3. Members see the endorsement in their activity list with the points already credited.
  4. No notification queue -- endorsements appear in real time.
info

When you issue credentials proactively, they skip the "Requested" status entirely. The endorsement is created directly in the "Endorsed" status, and points are awarded immediately. Members see the endorsement in their activity list with points already credited.

caution

Double-check the number of hours and the list of selected members before submitting a bulk volunteering endorsement. Once submitted, each endorsement is created individually and points are awarded immediately. To undo, you would need to revoke each endorsement separately.
