Issuing Credentials

App Only This feature is only available in the FeatsClub mobile app.

Issuing Credentials lets org admins proactively create endorsements and certificates for members -- without requiring the member to submit anything first. While the Review & Endorse workflow starts when a member submits an activity, Issue Credentials starts when the organization decides to recognize someone.

How It Differs from Review & Endorse

When to Use Issue Credentials

Issue Credentials is designed for situations where the organization tracks activities outside the app and wants to award recognition in bulk:

• After an event -- Recognize everyone who participated in a fundraiser, tournament, or community event
• Volunteering hours tracked externally -- Coaches or supervisors track hours in spreadsheets or attendance logs, then the admin bulk-issues endorsements at the end of the week or month
• Batch recognition -- Award a group of members for completing a training program, passing a milestone, or finishing a season
• Certificates -- Issue formal digital certificates for completions, awards, or achievements

How to Access

1. Open the Endorsement Home screen by tapping the Endorse tab in the bottom navigation bar.
2. Scroll to the Issue Credentials section at the bottom of the screen.
3. You will see two tiles:
   • Issue Endorsements -- Create endorsements for one or more members
   • Issue Certificates -- Generate and distribute digital certificates

The Issue Endorsements Flow

When you tap Issue Endorsements, you follow this flow:

  Browse members list
  (see all org members with credential counts)

  Choose credential type
  (Volunteering, Participation, Achievement, Custom)

  Fill in details
  (hours, description, points, media)

  (points awarded, no pending status)

Endorsements created through Issue Credentials skip the "Requested" status entirely. They are created directly in the Endorsed status, and points are awarded to the member immediately.
