Bulk Operations & Export

When you have a large number of pending activities, reviewing them one at a time can be time-consuming. FeatsClub provides bulk operations to endorse or reject multiple activities at once, and an Excel export feature for volunteering data.

Bulk Endorse and Reject

When to Use Bulk Operations

Bulk operations are useful when:

  • You have a large batch of similar activities (e.g., 20 members all volunteered at the same event)
  • You have already verified the activities through other means (attendance records, coach confirmation)
  • You need to quickly clear a backlog of pending submissions

How to Use Bulk Operations

  1. From the Endorsement Home, tap the activity type tile to open the review list.
  2. Go to the Pending tab.
  3. Tap the checkbox icon to enable multi-select mode.
  4. Select the activities you want to process:
    • Tap individual checkboxes to select specific activities
    • Use Select All to select every activity on the current list
  5. Choose your action:
    • Bulk Endorse -- Approve all selected activities and award points
    • Bulk Reject -- Deny all selected activities with no points awarded
  6. Confirm the action when prompted.
  7. All selected activities are processed at once.

How Points Work in Bulk Endorse

The point calculation depends on the activity type:

Activity TypeBulk Endorse Behavior
VolunteeringEach activity gets points based on its own duration (10 points per hour). A 2-hour session gets 20 points, a 4-hour session gets 40 points -- even in the same batch.
All other types (Assignment, Practice Log, etc.)You select a single point value that is applied to all selected activities. Every activity in the batch receives the same number of points.
caution

When bulk endorsing non-volunteering activities, the same point value is applied to all selected activities. If different activities deserve different point values, review them individually instead. Bulk endorse is best suited for batches where the same point award makes sense across the board.

Bulk Reject

When you bulk reject activities:

  • No points are awarded to any of the selected activities
  • All selected activities move from the Pending tab to the Rejected tab
  • Members are notified of the rejection
tip

If you need to provide specific feedback to each member, consider rejecting activities individually so you can write a personalized org message for each one. Bulk reject is best when the reason is the same across all selected activities.

Excel Export (Volunteering Only)

The Excel export feature is available exclusively for the Volunteering activity type. It generates a downloadable report that you can use for record-keeping, grant applications, and administrative reporting.

How to Export

  1. From the Endorsement Home, tap the Volunteering tile.
  2. Tap the export/download button on the volunteering list screen.
  3. A report is generated and downloaded to your device.

What the Export Includes

The exported report contains data for all volunteering activities, including:

  • Member name -- Who performed the volunteering
  • Hours -- Duration of the volunteering activity
  • Cause -- What the volunteering was for
  • Dates -- When the volunteering occurred
  • Endorsement status -- Whether the activity is Pending, Endorsed, Rejected, etc.

When Export Is Useful

Use CaseHow It Helps
Grant applicationsMany grants require documented proof of community service hours. The export provides a ready-made report.
Compliance reportingSchools and organizations that require a minimum number of volunteer hours can use the export to track progress.
Board presentationsShare volunteer impact data with your board of directors or stakeholders.
Administrator requestsWhen school administrators or program directors ask for volunteer data, the export is ready to share.
Year-end summariesGenerate an annual report of all volunteering activity across your organization.

Endorsement Status Reference

Every activity has a status that reflects where it is in the review lifecycle. Here is a complete reference:

StatusDescriptionPoints Awarded?
RequestedThe member has submitted the activity and it is awaiting org reviewNo
EndorsedThe org approved the activityYes -- points awarded to the member
RejectedThe org denied the activityNo
CanceledThe member or org canceled the request before it was reviewedNo
CertifiedThe org endorsed the activity and attached a certificateYes -- points awarded to the member
info

The Certified status is a special form of endorsement where the org issues a formal certificate along with the endorsement. This is typically used for significant achievements that warrant official documentation. See the Certificates section for more details.

Tips for Efficient Reviewing

  • Review in batches -- Set a regular schedule (e.g., every Monday) to review all pending activities. This keeps your queue manageable and sets clear expectations for members.
  • Use bulk endorse for verified events -- If you organized a volunteering event and know who attended, bulk endorse all attendees at once.
  • Export regularly -- Download the volunteering report monthly or quarterly so you always have up-to-date records.
  • Delegate to admins -- If your organization has multiple admins, divide the review work by activity type so no one person gets overwhelmed.
