Filtering & Searching Clubs

As your organization grows and you accumulate more clubs, finding a specific one quickly becomes important. The Club Dashboard provides status filter tabs and a search bar to help you locate any club in seconds.

Status Filter Tabs

Just below the stat cards, you will see a row of filter tabs. Each tab shows clubs in a specific status, with a count badge indicating how many clubs match that filter.

The available tabs are:

TabWhat It Shows
ActiveClubs that are currently live -- they have been launched and are running or accepting members. This is the default tab when you open the dashboard.
AllEvery club across all statuses, with duplicates removed. Useful for getting a complete picture.
DraftClubs that are still being prepared and have not been launched yet. These are only visible to admins, not to members or the public.
PastClubs whose program has been completed. Their end date has passed and they have been marked as completed.
ArchivedClubs that have been manually archived or canceled. This includes completed, canceled, and trashed clubs.

Clicking a tab instantly updates the grid below to show only clubs matching that status. The active tab is highlighted with a purple underline and its count badge is filled in purple.

tip

The Active tab is selected by default because it shows the clubs most relevant to your day-to-day operations. Switch to All when you need to see everything at once.

What Each Status Means in Practice

  • Draft -- You have started creating a club but have not launched it yet. Draft clubs are your workspace for getting everything set up -- title, description, schedules, officers -- before going live. Only admins can see draft clubs.
  • Active -- The club is live and operational. Members can see it, enroll (if enrollment is open), and participate in scheduled sessions. Most of your attention will be on active clubs.
  • Past -- The club has run its course. The end date has passed and the club has been marked as completed. Past clubs remain visible for reference and historical tracking, but no new members can join.
  • Archived -- The club has been manually archived by an admin, or was canceled. Archived clubs are tucked away to keep your active dashboard clean, but you can still view them by switching to the Archived tab.
info

A club can appear in both the Past and Archived tabs. For example, a completed club shows under Past (because it finished) and also under Archived (because completed clubs are considered archived). The All tab removes these duplicates so each club appears only once.

To the right of the filter tabs, you will find a search bar. Type any part of a club's name, category, or description to filter the current view instantly.

The search works within the currently selected tab. For example, if you are on the "Active" tab and search for "basketball", only active clubs with "basketball" in their title, category, or description will appear.

Search Tips

  • Search is instant -- The club grid updates as you type, with no need to press Enter.
  • Search is case-insensitive -- Typing "piano", "Piano", or "PIANO" all produce the same results.
  • Clear the search -- Click the X button that appears inside the search bar to clear your search term and show all clubs in the current tab again.
  • No results? -- If your search does not match any clubs, you will see a "No results found" message with a suggestion to adjust your search term.
tip

Searching on the All tab is the fastest way to find a club when you are not sure of its current status.

Sorting

Clubs are sorted by most recently modified first. This means the club you last updated, edited, or interacted with appears at the top of the grid. This sorting applies across all tabs.
