Membership Dashboard Overview

The Membership Dashboard gives you a complete view of your organization's membership plans and member activity. This page walks you through every section of the dashboard so you know exactly where to find what you need.

At the top of the dashboard you will see:

  • Page title -- "Memberships" with a brief subtitle: "Manage your organization's membership plans."
  • Manage Members button -- Opens the members management view where you can see all enrolled members across all your membership plans. This button is only visible if you have permission to manage members.
  • Add Membership button -- Starts the membership creation flow. This button appears when you are on the Active tab and have permission to create memberships.

note

Both the Manage Members and Add Membership buttons are permission-based. If your organization uses delegate admin roles, you will only see the buttons that match your assigned permissions. If you do not see a button you expect, contact your organization admin to request access.

Payment Profile Notice

If your organization has not yet set up a payment profile, a blue information banner appears below the header. This banner lets you know that you can create free memberships right away, and provides a link to Dashboard > Settings > Payments where you can configure a payment profile to accept paid memberships.

Once your payment profile is set up, this banner will no longer appear.

Stats Cards

Below the header, four stat cards provide a summary of your membership activity. These stats cover all your memberships regardless of the currently selected tab.

Stat CardWhat It Shows
Total PlansThe total number of membership plans your organization has created (across all statuses)
Active PlansThe number of membership plans with "active" status that are currently accepting enrollments
Active MembersThe total number of people with currently valid (non-expired) memberships across all your plans
Expired MembersThe total number of people whose memberships have expired or lapsed

Large numbers are displayed in compact format for readability. For example, 1,500 active members appears as "1.5K" and 2,000,000 appears as "2.0M".

tip

The Active Plans count tells you how many membership offerings are currently live and accepting new enrollments. If this number is lower than expected, check the Inactive tab -- you may have memberships that are still in draft or paused status.

Status Tabs

Directly below the stat cards, you will find three status tabs that let you filter your membership plans by their current state. Each tab displays a count badge showing how many memberships are in that status.

TabWhat It Shows
ActiveMembership plans that are live and available for enrollment
InactiveMembership plans that are in draft or have been paused
ClosedMembership plans that have been permanently closed or rolled up into another plan

The Active tab is selected by default when you open the dashboard. See Filtering & Searching for more details on how each tab works.

Membership Cards

The main body of the dashboard displays your memberships as a grid of cards. Each card shows the key information you need to identify and compare your plans at a glance.

What Each Card Shows

  • Cover Image -- The membership's primary image or media. If the plan has multiple images, they cycle automatically. If no image has been uploaded, a default membership icon is displayed on a gradient background.
  • Membership Name -- The plan name, displayed prominently (up to two lines).
  • Term Type -- A short description of the billing arrangement, such as "Renews Monthly," "Renews Yearly," "Lifetime," or "Fixed Period (One-time)."
  • Group Size -- For group/family memberships, shows the number of people included (e.g., "4 people"). This only appears for plans that cover more than one person.
  • Price -- The membership fee displayed with the currency symbol. Shows "Free" for free memberships, or the price with billing interval for recurring plans (e.g., "$99/mo" or "$499/yr").

Card Interactions

  • Hover -- When you hover over a card, a subtle shadow appears and a purple arrow button slides in at the bottom-right of the image, inviting you to view the membership details.
  • Click -- Selecting anywhere on the card navigates you to the full membership detail page.

Pricing Display

The price displayed on each card reflects the base fee set by your organization (before any platform fees). The currency symbol is determined by the membership's currency setting:

CurrencySymbolExample
USD$$99/mo
INR₹2,000/yr
None (Free)--Free

For recurring memberships, the billing interval is appended: /day, /week, /mo, or /yr.

Loading State

When the dashboard is fetching your memberships, placeholder skeleton cards are displayed with animated loading indicators. This gives you a visual cue that content is on its way.

Empty State

If your organization has no memberships yet in a particular tab, the dashboard displays a contextual empty state:

For the Active tab with no memberships at all, a welcome screen appears with:

  • A heading inviting you to launch your first membership
  • A description of what memberships can do for your organization
  • Feature highlights: Auto Accept Payments, Manage Offline Payments, Member-Only Tickets & Perks, and Nonprofit Data Compliance
  • A prominent Create Your First Membership button

For the Inactive tab with no results, the message reads: "No inactive memberships -- Draft or paused memberships will appear here."

For the Closed tab with no results, the message reads: "No closed memberships -- Memberships that have been closed will appear here."

Sorting

Membership cards are sorted by most recently modified by default, so your newest or most recently updated plans appear first. This ensures that the memberships you are actively working on are easy to find.
