Community Settings
Community Settings control how your organization handles followers and which sections appear on your public profile. These settings affect both your public profile appearance and community management behavior.
How to Access
- Go to Dashboard from the left sidebar
- Click Settings
- In the side panel, find the Community Settings section

Follower Management
Auto Accept Followers
- Default: Off
When enabled, new follow requests are automatically approved without requiring manual review. When disabled, each follow request appears in your Requests tab and must be approved or rejected manually.
When to enable: Open communities, public organizations, or large organizations that receive many follow requests and do not need to vet each one.
When to keep off: Private or exclusive organizations, invite-only groups, or organizations that want to review and vet new followers before granting access.
See Managing Followers for details on the manual approval workflow when this setting is off.
Events Section Settings
Pin Events by Default
- Default: On
When enabled, newly created events automatically appear on your public organization profile. When disabled, new events are not shown on the public profile unless you manually pin them.
This controls whether your public profile automatically showcases your latest events as they are created.
Show Events First
- Default: Off
When enabled, the events section is placed at the top of your public profile, above other content sections like memberships and clubs. When disabled, sections appear in the default order.
When to enable: If events are your primary offering and you want visitors to see them first when they land on your profile.
Hide Events
- Default: Off
When enabled, the entire events section is hidden from your public profile. Events still exist and function normally -- they just are not displayed on your profile page.
When to use: If you use events internally but do not want them showcased publicly, or if your organization does not focus on events.
Hiding events only affects your public profile. Your events are still accessible via direct links and the FeatsClub app. This setting does not make events private or restrict access.

Section Visibility
Hide Clubs
- Default: Off
Hides the clubs/cohorts section from your public profile.
Use case: If you do not use clubs or want to keep them off your public-facing page.
Hide Skills
- Default: Off
Hides the skills section from your public profile.
Use case: If your organization does not use the skills feature.
Hide Memberships
- Default: Off
Hides the memberships section from your public profile.
Use case: If you do not offer memberships or want to keep them off your public-facing page.
Content Customization
Name Cohorts as Clubs
- Default: Off
Changes the label "Cohorts" to "Clubs" throughout the platform for your organization. This is a display-only change -- the underlying functionality is identical.
When to enable: If your organization refers to groups as "clubs" rather than "cohorts." This is common for sports leagues, community organizations, and hobby groups.
Cohort Alias
- Default: Empty (uses "Cohorts" or "Clubs" based on the toggle above)
Sets a completely custom name for cohorts. For example, you could rename them to "Chapters", "Circles", "Teams", "Classes", or any term that fits your organization.
When to use: If neither "Cohorts" nor "Clubs" fits your organization's terminology.
