Connecting Stripe

This section covers everything you need to know about connecting a Stripe account to your FeatsClub organization. A connected Stripe account is required before you can accept any payments -- whether for event tickets, membership fees, or donations.

FeatsClub offers two ways to connect Stripe, depending on whether you already have a Stripe account or need to create one from scratch.

Choose Your Path​

I Do Not Have a Stripe Account​

If this is your first time using Stripe, you will create a brand-new account through FeatsClub. Stripe will walk you through their onboarding form where you provide your business details, identity verification, and bank account information.

I Already Have a Stripe Account​

If you already have a Stripe account (from another website, app, or service), you can link it to FeatsClub in seconds. You simply log in to your existing Stripe account and authorize the connection.

After Connecting​

Once your Stripe account is connected, your payment profile will appear on the Payment Profiles page with one of these statuses:

StatusMeaning
ActiveYour account is verified and ready to accept payments. You can start creating paid events, memberships, and donations immediately.
PendingStripe needs additional information to complete verification. You will need to provide more details before you can accept payments.

If your profile shows as Pending, see Completing Pending Setup for instructions on how to finish the verification process.

tip

Most new Stripe accounts are verified instantly and show "Active" right away. If Stripe needs additional verification (such as identity documents), your profile will show "Pending" until the review is complete.
