Reviewing Activities

When members submit activities for endorsement, those activities land in your review queue. As an org admin, you review each submission, verify the details, and decide whether to endorse (approve) or reject it. This section covers everything you need to know about the review process.

How the Review Process Works

The endorsement review follows a simple flow:

Accessing Activity Reviews

To start reviewing activities:

  1. Go to the Endorsement Home in your dashboard.
  2. You will see tiles for each activity type (Volunteering, Assignment, Practice Log, etc.).
  3. Each tile shows the count of pending submissions.
  4. Tap an activity type tile to open the review list for that type.

The Three Tabs

When you open an activity type's review list, you see three tabs that organize submissions by their current status:

TabWhat It ShowsWhat You Can Do
PendingActivities submitted by members, awaiting your reviewEndorse or reject individual activities, use bulk operations
EndorsedActivities you have already approvedView details, revoke if needed
RejectedActivities you have deniedView details, review your decision

Endorsement Stats Widget

At the top of the review list, a stats widget displays a summary of activity counts across all three statuses. This gives you a quick snapshot of how many activities are pending review, how many you have endorsed, and how many you have rejected.

Activity List

Each tab shows a list of activity tiles. Each tile displays:

  • Member name and photo -- Who submitted the activity
  • Activity date -- When the activity was performed
  • Duration -- How long the activity lasted (especially relevant for volunteering)
  • Brief description -- A short summary of what the member did
  • Selection checkbox -- For bulk operations (available in multi-select mode)

Tapping any activity tile opens the full review screen where you can see all the details and take action.

Bulk Operations

When you have many pending activities, reviewing them one at a time can be slow. The review list supports multi-select mode with checkboxes, allowing you to endorse or reject multiple activities at once. The Volunteering activity type also supports Excel export for reporting purposes.

Bulk operations are covered in detail in Bulk Operations & Export.
