Editing & Managing Memberships
After you have created and launched a membership, you will likely need to update details, adjust pricing, or manage its lifecycle as your organization evolves. This section covers everything you need to know about maintaining your memberships over time.
Post-Creation Management
Once a membership is live and members are enrolling, you can still make changes and perform management actions:
- Edit details -- Update the name, description, pricing, media, forms, benefits, and terms of an existing membership
- Duplicate -- Create a copy of an existing membership to use as a starting point for a new plan (available on the mobile app)
- Close or archive -- Retire a membership that is no longer being offered while preserving all member data
What You Can Change
Most aspects of a membership can be edited at any time:
| Editable | What You Can Change |
|---|---|
| Name & Description | Update the membership name and description text |
| Benefits & Terms | Add, remove, or rewrite benefits and terms and conditions |
| Pricing | Change the base fee and fee passthrough setting |
| Media | Add, remove, or reorder cover images and videos |
| Registration Form | Update or replace the registration form for new enrollments |
| Participant Form | Update or replace the participant form for group memberships |
| Member Capacity | Change the number of people included per membership |
| Options | Toggle invite-only, auto-renewal, and grandfathered pricing settings |
caution
Changes to pricing and term configuration only affect new enrollments. Existing members retain the pricing and term they enrolled with. Their enrollment record includes a snapshot of the membership details at the time they joined.
