Creating a Club

Creating a club in FeatsClub is a guided process. A 4-step wizard walks you through everything from naming your club to launching it for members to join.

How Navigation Works

  • Use the Continue button to advance to the next step. Required fields are validated before you can move forward.
  • Use the Previous button to go back and edit earlier steps without losing your progress.
  • Click directly on a completed step in the progress bar to jump back to it.
  • On the final step, you choose to Save as Draft or Launch the club.
tip

You do not need to complete all steps to save your work. You can Save as Draft at any point during the wizard (as long as the required basics are filled in) and come back to finish later.

Getting Started

To begin creating a club:

  1. Navigate to the Clubs section from your dashboard sidebar.
  2. Click the Create Club button in the top-right area.
  3. You will be taken to the first step of the creation wizard.

You can also create a club by copying an existing one. When viewing a club's detail page, use the copy action to pre-fill the wizard with data from that club. This saves time when setting up similar programs or seasonal repeats.

Step-by-Step Summary

Step 1: Basics

Set up the foundational information for your club -- its name, description, icon, and important dates. All fields in this step are required (except the icon). This is the only step that must be fully completed before you can save a draft.

Step 2: Details

Add a category to help members discover your club, set rules for members to follow, define joining criteria, and choose whether to enable group messaging.

Step 3: Media

Upload photos and videos that showcase your club. Media appears as a gallery on your club's page and on club cards throughout the platform.

Review everything you have configured, toggle visibility settings, and choose to save as a draft or launch your club immediately.
