Social Media Links
You can add social media links to your event to help attendees connect with your event's online presence, follow updates, or access related content. These links appear on the event detail page.
Supported Platforms
FeatsClub supports linking to four social media platforms:
| Platform | Field | Example URL |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram URL | https://instagram.com/your-event | |
| YouTube | YouTube URL | https://youtube.com/@your-channel or a specific video URL |
| Facebook URL | https://facebook.com/events/your-event | |
| Twitter / X | Twitter URL | https://twitter.com/your-event or https://x.com/your-event |
How to Add Social Media Links
- During event creation, look for the social media links section (typically within the Media & Hosts step or the review step).
- Enter the full URL for each platform you want to link.
- Leave fields empty for platforms you do not want to display -- only filled-in links will appear on the event page.
Use the full URL including https://. For example, use https://instagram.com/your-event rather than just @your-event.
When to Use Social Media Links
Social media links are especially useful for:
- Event-specific accounts -- If your event has its own Instagram or Twitter account for updates.
- YouTube content -- Link to a promotional video, a trailer, or a playlist of past event recordings.
- Facebook event pages -- Direct attendees to a Facebook event where they can also RSVP or engage with the community.
- Organization accounts -- Link to your organization's main social media profiles for attendees who want to follow you.
- Hashtag pages -- Link to a search results page for your event hashtag (e.g.,
https://twitter.com/search?q=%23YourEventHashtag).
How Links Appear on the Event Page
Social media links are displayed as clickable icons on the event detail page. Only the platforms you provide links for are shown -- empty fields are not displayed.
When an attendee clicks a social media icon, the link opens in a new browser tab.
Social media links are entirely optional. If you do not add any links, the social media section simply does not appear on your event page. There is no placeholder or empty state visible to attendees.
Next Steps
After adding social media links, proceed to:
- Draft vs. Publishing -- Review your event and decide whether to publish it or save it as a draft
