Creating a Membership
This guide walks you through the complete process of creating a membership plan on FeatsClub. The membership creation flow is a 6-step wizard that guides you through each section, from entering basic details to launching your plan.
Overview of the Creation Flow
When you create a new membership, FeatsClub walks you through a multi-step wizard. Each step focuses on a specific part of your membership configuration:

How Navigation Works
- Use the Next button to advance to the next step. Required fields are validated before you can proceed.
- Use the Previous button to go back and edit earlier steps without losing your work.
- Click directly on a step in the progress bar to jump to any step you have already visited.
- Steps marked with a red asterisk (*) are required. Optional steps (Registration and Media) can be skipped.
- Completed steps show a green checkmark in the progress bar.
You do not need to complete the optional steps (Registration and Media) to launch your membership. Only the steps marked as "Required" must be filled in.
Getting Started
To begin creating a membership:
- Navigate to your Membership Dashboard from the sidebar.
- Click the Create Membership button.
- You will be taken to the membership creation wizard, starting at Step 1.
You need the Create permission for memberships to access this screen. If you see a "Permission Denied" message, contact your organization administrator to grant you access.
What Each Step Covers
Step 1: Basic Information
Define the identity of your membership -- its name, a detailed description, a 3-character prefix for generating member IDs, and the benefits and terms & conditions that members will see.
Step 2: Term Configuration
Configure how long the membership lasts and how billing works. Choose from fixed-date periods, rolling enrollment, or lifetime memberships. Set payment type as one-time or recurring.
Step 3: Pricing
Set the membership fee, choose between paid and free, and decide whether to pass processing fees to members or absorb them as your organization. You can also mark the membership as invite-only.
Step 4: Registration (Optional)
Configure how many people a single membership covers (individual or group/family). Attach registration forms to collect information from the purchaser, and participant forms to collect details for each member.
Step 5: Media (Optional)
Upload cover photos and videos to make your membership visually appealing. You can add up to 3 media items.
Step 6: Review & Launch
Review a summary of everything you have configured. Each section has an "Edit" link to jump back and make changes. When you are ready, click Launch Membership to make it live.
