Creating an Event

This guide walks you through the complete process of creating an event on FeatsClub. The event creation flow is a step-by-step wizard that guides you through each section, from choosing your event type to publishing.

Overview of the Creation Flow

When you create a new event, FeatsClub walks you through a multi-step wizard. The exact steps depend on the type of event you choose:

Free / RSVP / Sign-up Events (7 Steps)

How Navigation Works

  • Use the Continue button to advance to the next step. Required fields are validated before you can proceed.
  • Use the Previous button to go back and edit earlier steps without losing your work.
  • Click directly on a step in the progress bar to jump to any step you have already visited.
  • On the final step, you can choose to Save as Draft or Publish the event.
tip

You do not need to complete all optional steps to publish your event. Only the steps marked as "Required" must be filled in.

Getting Started

To begin creating an event:

  1. Navigate to your Event Dashboard from the sidebar.
  2. Click the Create Event button.
  3. You will be taken to the event type selection screen.

You can also create an event by copying an existing one. On the event type selection screen, look for the "Or Copy from Existing Event" option at the bottom. This pre-fills the form with data from a previous event, saving you time for recurring or similar events.
